Monitor yang berukuran 23.6-inch ini sudah eco-friendly yang di manufaktur 50% menggunakan material yang tidak berbahaya dan juga menggunakan daya lebih hemat 30%. ASUS Designo LS246H Sudah mensupport HDMI dan konektifitas VGA, ia juga mendukung sepenuhnya Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution dan sudah menggunakan 16.7-juta warna. NEC has launched its latest technology named as NEC E461 and E551. This cool LCD has a good performance than other monitors, it has 46-inch E461 and 55-inch E551 both feature 1920x1080p Full HD, and up to 5000:1 typical contrast ratio. It may contains 210W and fully connectivity, in terms of 4 HDMI inputs, analog RGB, composite video and S-Video.
Other features include multiple picture modes, features advanced video and a 120Hz refresh rate, built-in ATSC/NTSC/QAM analog/digital tuner, built-in closed captioning and integrated CONEQ Sound technology. It is have a swivel stand, its detachable for wall amount applications. The NEC E461 and E551 LCD is available with a retail price of $999 and $1,499 respectively, and will be released in the month of August.

Aside from that the Dell SX2210T multi-touch monitor has a 220 cd/m2 brightness, dual microphones for video chat, and the capability to to flick, tap, drag, and scroll with your fingers using its multi-touch technology.

HP has announced their latest affordable LCD monitors which are expected to be released and sold to the market in late May 2010. These are the S2031, S2231 and S2331 series. These brand new model of monitors have a contrast ratio of 1000:1, a resolution of 1600 × 900px, 250 nits of brightness levels and has a response time of 5 ms. Only S2031 model supports 1080p and 300 nits of brightness levels. For the price, the S2031 costs $150, whereas for S2231 has a price of $190, while the S2331 has a selling price of $220.

LCD Laptop COMPAQ Blank
LCD laptop compaq blank putih atau hitam dan bergaris (rusak).
Hal tersebut terjadi pada salah satu laptop salah satu teman saya yang katanya sudah lama rusak dan malas diperbaiki karena masalah biaya.
Masalah yang timbul pada laptop teman saya ini adalah timbulnya garis putih dan berwarna secara acak sehingga lama kelamaan tampilan pada layar laptop menjadi tidak kelihatan sama sekali, karena telah ter-blok oleh warna hitam ataupun putih secara bergantian.
Cara memperbaiki laptop compaq yang rusak bergaris seperti ini sebenarnya mudah. Dari hal yang termudah yaitu dengan menggunakan layanan garansi dari laptop kamu sendiri. Tapi bagaimana jika garansi kamu habis? dan kamu ingin memperbaiki laptop kamu ke service center resmi? tentu kamu akan dikenakan biaya yang dibilang cukup mahal, apalagi kita masih pelajar ataupun mahasiswa yang belum berpenghasilan.
Seperti halnya teman saya ini sudah pernah membawwa laptopnya ke service center HP (karena compaq dan hp jadi satu) dan si teknisi berkata “Laptopnya bisa diperbaiki, dan kisaran harga sekitar 2,5 juta sampai 4,5 juta dan juga harus dikirim ke jakarta” wah pikir saya minimal seminggu tuh di jakarta. Teman saya juga berpikir untuk mengeluarkan biaya sebesar itu, karena harganya yang hampir menyamai laptop baru sekarang.
Saya iseng untuk menawarkan “membongkar” laptop begundal tersebut. Karena saya ada sedikit ilmu teknik ngawur yang memang saya miliki dari kecil (asal bongkar asal nyala apapun caranya). Setelah mendapatkan persetujuan dari si pemilik laptop langsung saja saya bedah laptop tersebut.
- Saya buka semua baut yang ada dibagian bawah body laptop untuk mempermudah membuka keyboard dan chasing bagian atas.
- Lepaskan chasing bagian atas khususnya bagian yang paling dekat dengan engsel LCD (untuk melepaskan baut LCD dari body).
- Lepas kabel flexyble yang menempel pada MB. Dan lepas juga kabel mic serta kabel antena wifi.
- Pisahkan terlebih dahulu bagian LCD terhadap MB untuk mempermudah pengecekan.
- Pasang kembali hanya kabel flexyble saja dengan kondisi LCD tanpa chasing (hanya lembaran LCD).
- Sambil laptop dinyalakan dan LCD kamu pegang, tekan tekan mulai dari daerah flexyble hingga daerah main board yang ada pada bagian belakang LCD yang bertuliskan don’t touch (boleh kok dipegang).
- Hindari memegang kabel yang berwarna putih dan pink, karena kabel tersebut adalah kabel bertegangan tinggi untuk mencatu backlight.
- Dalam hal ini saat saya sampai pada main board (saya tekan) dan gambar yang dihasilkan jadi baik atau sempurna tanpa garis maka dapat di indikasikan bahwa ada komponen yang loggar dibagian itu. Bisa saja yang loggar adalah flexyble dari main board LCD menuju LCD panel nya langsung.
- Seperti kata saya diatas, asal bongkar asal nyala, dari pada uang terbuang 4,5 juta langsung saja laptop begundal tersebut saya akali dengan sesuatu.
- Awalnya saya menggunakan Hansaplast (maaf menyebut merk), namun kurang berhasil karena daya rekatnya kurang baik.
- Saya gunakan plaster kardus berwarna hitam dan sedikit kapas yang saya tempelkan pada bagian belakang LCD.
- Hasilnya, sekarang saya bisa posting artikel ini dengan laptop yang sudah saya betulkan tersebut.
