Koneksi Internet Dengan Nokia CDMA 2115I

Dalam pembahasan ini saya menggunakan ponsel nokia 2115i, menggunakan kabel data DKU-5, koneksi dengan SMART.

A. Tahap pertama Instalasi driver kabel data DKU-5
1. masukkan CD driver DKU-5 ke CD room drive
2. hubungkan kabel data DKU-5 ke salah satu port USB di PC/Notebook
3. pada window akan muncul found hardware wizard, -> pilih yes, this time only lalu click next
4. pilih install from a list or specific location, click next
5. beri tanda check pada iclude this location in the search
6. click browse, cari lokasi folder dimana driver tersimpan pada PC, click OK -> next
7. pada window baru yang muncul click continue anyway
8. setelah selesai click finish

B. Tahap kedua Instalasi driver modem nokia 2115i

1. click start -> pilih control panel -> click 2x phone and modem options
2. pada window phone and modem options -> tab modems -> add
3. pilih don’t detect my modem -> next
4. click Have Disk… untuk mencari file driver modem (npmCDMA2000_1x.inf), click browse, cari lokasi folder dimana file driver tersimpan.
5. selanjutnya pada manufacturer pilih Nokia Mobile Phone CDMA2000_1X data/fax, pada models pilih Nokia CDMA2000 1X 3G paket data modem, click next.
6. pada daftr ports pilih port sesuai dengan port kabel data DKU-5 (mis: COM4), click next, jika muncul window pilih continue anyway, click finish.
7. sekarang anda telah selesai menginstall driver modem

C. Tahap ketiga Membuat koneksi internet menggunakan SMART
1. pilih program -> all programs -> accessories -> communications -> network connections
2. pilih file -> new connections
3. click next, pilih connect to the internet -> next
4. pilih set up my connection manually -> next
5. pilih connect using a dial-up modem -> next
6. pilih modem-nokia CDMA 2000 1X 3G paket data modem (com4) -> next. catatan: pilih modem sesuai dengan modem yang di install pada tahap instalasi modem
7. masukkan SMART sebagai nama ISP anda
8. masukkan #777 sebagai nomor dial up ISP
9. untuk username ketik smart
10. untuk password ketik smart
11. check add shortcut, click finish

untuk file.inf silahkan ambil nehh
